About the University
The University of Zagreb is located in Croatia. It is the largest and the oldest continuously operating university in Europe. The university is a public higher education institution and was established in 1669.
The university has 29 faculties, 3 art academies, and a university center with around 70,000 students.
The Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the university is the only faculty in Croatia dedicated entirely to teaching and research in pharmacy and medical biochemistry. In 1882 the university began the study of Pharmacy. The faculty offers graduate programs in Pharmacy and Medical Biochemistry, a postgraduate program in Pharmaceutical-Biochemical Sciences, and postgraduate specialist programs. Continuing education for Masters of Pharmacy and Medical Biochemistry is also offered by the faculty.
