About the University
Crimea State Medical University, founded in 1931, is one of the oldest and best medical universities in Russia, owned by Government. The university is named after S. I Georgievsky. It is located in Simferopol, Russia. In year 1918, the university was known as medical faculty of Taurida University.
Being on the leading position all over Europe to provide best medical training, the university aims to provide the best possible education with number of computer labs, libraries and practical exposure.
The University has well-equipped laboratories which are required for scientific researches and over the last few years more modern equipments have been purchased.
This establishment has libraries with more than 800 thousand books related to different literature from different parts of the world and in different languages. The 3 campus libraries are short-term book-borrowing library, a long-term book-borrowing library and a computerized library where books can be read online.
